Purchased this weekend, my very own copy of Mason-Dixon Knitting!
I went to an amazing yarn sale on Saturday at Flying Fingers (50% off all skeins!!!), and picked up the book at a Barnes and Noble later in the day. Boy, I wish I had this book pre-yarn shopping!
I was able to pick up Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece for the Green Gable top and the IK Wave Skirt, plus some cashmere (my first purchase ever, in a beautiful light green), more mercerized cotton, and a few other treats.
If I could go back in time, I would have also bought yarn to make some felted boxes, a bathmat, a log cabin blanket, and some spiral rugs. I am thinking this will be a good time to go through the stash to see what is lurking. I have some baby presents to make in the next few months, and I'm sure i have more yarn than I remember... isn't that always the way!
But as always, the issue now is what to make first!
